I bought these tool holders a while back just now putting them on.  Already had the strong mount, bullet trays, now I have the wrench holders!

Pimped 550B

Pimped 650

The 650 has one extra wrench so the tool holder for it has one extra hole

How I stored my wrenches before

It was always a PITA to find the right wrench digging through all these suckers.

I bought these out of guilt since I called up Dillon for some free No BS lifetime guarantee parts, figured I'll pay shipping and they could toss in the free parts and not have it cost them that much.

I'm waiting for them to come out with a cup holder next or something

Top pics, round ball, bottom pics, roller handle.

I believe he has more than one press.

A 550 and a 650 I believe.

I have a 550B and a 650.  The round ball on the 550B doesn't bother me.   The 550B was my first Dillon way back in early 90's.  I got the 650 for about 40% retail, slightly used back in 2006 (?).  It came with the roller handle, bullet tray, strong mounts.

Yeah!!!! It worked.
Way too neat!  Nice set up.  Guess your 550 is a 1991 or 1992 vintage, the powder measure it came with is on the 650 now and vice versa.

Looks like the 650 is set up to crank out some 9mm?

Your quiet observant; but just a tad bit off the mark.  I bought the 650 about 12 years ago and that's the original powder measure that came with it.  What you thought was a 550 is actually a 450 that I bought on ebay about 2 years ago.  It had most of the 550 upgrades already, but the previous owner had broken the powder measure so I ordered a new one.  I've thought about returning the broken measure to test out Dillon's no BS warranty.
To date the 650 has only been used for pistol reloading (I got tool heads for .38, .357, .357sig, 9mm & .45) as I only started playing with rifle reloading when I bought the 450.
My reloading room is actually a downstairs walk-in closet, and eventhough it's cramped, it beats the hell out of reloading in the garage during the winter time.

Nice setup modern-militia, I like your wall hangers too.

I'm thinking you built them?

The black primer feed bar on the 450 and the powder measure on your 650 matches the primer feed bar and powder measure on my 550 so those were the clues I based my guess on.  I never seen a 450 before but looks like it has a different cartridge ejection chute.  You could use a primer buzzer to finalize bringing it up to 550 specs.

Your 650 has the case feed support tube off to one side, they put them straight behind the press now

The green case feed adapter on the 650 screams 9mm cause mines currently set up for 9mm. Going to convert it to 223 Thanksgiving week

Great, I found some folks that are familiar with the Dillon line.  I want the most bang for my buck, no pun intended, and am considering the super 1050.  How much more will I need to spend after buying the press in relation to tooling?  I understand the supplies aspect.  I am going to be reloading for myself, rifle and hand gun loads.  I also want to reload the thumper rounds.  (BM450)

Thanks for any advice.

I have no 1050 experience, but dies will cost the same. the caliber changes for the 1050 will cost more than the 550 and 650. You can probably save the $90 or so the Dillon swager costs since the 1050 has a built in primer pocket swager.

I had to loosen the black allen head screws and move the bracket on the 650 a bit to the right per this pic so the cartridge bin mounting bracket would have sufficient room to mount the cartridge bin easily.  that's why thesse brackets have the built in "play" in them

A 1050 isn't a great choice if you plan on loading multiple calibers.  A 650, or really, a 550 is better if you're going to load, say 500 of this, then 200 of that, then 800 of this over the weekend.  The 1050 is meant to be a 'commercial' reloader, and I've read that it is quite a bit more complex to setup and change calibers, and it apparently requires a lot of tweaking to get running.  AND, it only has a limited warranty, it does not have the liftime no-BS warranty of Dillon's other products.
