Hey guys,

I've been toying with the idea of making a SBR with one of my Spike's lowers and had a question.  Is there an age to make the SBR?  I know the question on the form 1 about being over 21, but I cannot find anywhere that says I must be 21 or older.  It also does not explain that a "Yes" answer disqualifies you, and have been told that if I just attach a letter saying that I am under 21, but it is legal for me to posses the weapon that it will be approved.

Any answers?

I know that people have purchased SBRs and cans from private parties in their own states at the ages of 18, 19 and 20, so you ought to be able to do it. The law says that a dealer cannot sell you such a weapon, and little else.

Try it, worst case scenario they give you your money back.

Yeah, that's kind of what I figured.  I already have the lower, so I would just buy the upper, which can be shipped straight to me, so I thought I was fine.  Looks like another $200 is out of here he
