Interesting... I'm putting my money on copper/unobtanium/inconel/hoplon baffles. One baffle stack to rule them all!

Shit SilencerCo I don't even want a shotgun but I'll have to buy one now! Already bought a Harvester and dont own a bolt gun. SiCo koolaid is best koolaid. Tag like a motherfucker!

The one in the middle really want a suppressor and a drum.

I suppose...

There's a whole bunch of stuff I would like to see Silencerco do before a shotgun suppressor, but hey, it's an untapped market that they can break into if that's the way they are going.

Things on my wish list would be an integral 10/22 suppressor with either a bunch of CTA baffles or a monocore with half-pipes and a large volume subgun can with CTA baffles that can use their Octane 3 lug mount.

My bet is on a Harvester in .17 caliber!   The shotgun shell is just a decoy.

Okay, my REAL guess is an integrally suppressed shotgun barrels for Mossberg 500 & Remington 870.  You can shoot steel shot and bird shot out of them without ear pro and without disturbing the other birds.

I'm going to guess it will be some type of integral setup, maybe ported to bleed off pressure. Any other ideas?

I think the case and the pic is a mind trick, a decoy like BadgerArms said. Instead, it's going to be for a really niche market. They're either going to release a can specific to this upper or this one.

Very interesting.
Inertia driven is a Benelli term.  Gas operated would be any number of mfgs.  Are they brand specific suppressors or will there be some sort of universal mount that the can will fit to?
Is it offset below the bore so the original bead sites an be used, or will it require elevated sights/optic?
Will it work with saboted slugs?  Foster slugs?

SilencerCo just announced their new 12 gauge hearing safe shotgun suppressor…the Salvo 12.

It will work on semi auto, pump, and inertia driven and gas operated shotguns. It is modular in length and comes in 6, 8, 10, and 12 inch lengths.

Pictures coming soon!

My KSG would love to have one on the end  That way I can see the actual results of a Suppressed KSG vs playing with one on Call of Duty.
Also, this will at least bring in some competition to the shotgun suppressor as shown on a KSG by Red Flag at the SHOT show.

eta: wow, just saw the vid..nice looking!  Appears to be an Osprey on steroids lol.  Definitely will go with the lines on my KSG...now to see if it is adaptable to it...

They look pretty loud to me.

dB AT EAR:
12" - 132.0
10" - 134.1
8"  - 137.0
6"  - 140.6

dB AT MUZZLE:
12" - 137.9
10" - 141.1
8"  - 145.1
6"  - 149.2

ETA:  10" and 12" models look interesting reduction-wise.

I wonder if they are going to make a titanium model?

But the modular design is begging for the ATF to come along and say it's "making" a suppressor every time you change the length.

Ordered a 10in one from my local dealer. If it indeed comes in certain lengths. If its completely modular ill get the 12. No eta on price yet. She normally matches silencer shop.

Bought my saker 762 from her and my sparrow SS from her.

The part about making changes in length have me wondering about spare parts left over after you assemble a functioning suppressor . I've heard the ATF doesn't like spare parts

32oz is pretty heavy to put on the end of a shotgun barrel

I bet subsonic shotgun loads are pretty damn quiet though

Anyone shot a metro barrel with subs before? It's as quiet as .22 subsonic through a can

You really think they didn't get ATF approval already?  Cadiz Gun Works was working on a modular shotgun suppressor as well, I don't think they ever made it to market.

Just cause they got approval doesn't mean the ATF won't change their mind.
