I don't, but when I get my Rem 700 sniper rifle built I'm getting one of those T handle self-limiting torque wrenches for the action screws which will go in the case with it.

Like, Kit, I use a torque wrench for action screws on my target/benchrest rifles.

I use my Fat Wrench all the time for scope rings and bases, action screws, etc.

Yes, I have several torque wrenches that I regularly use on my rifle. 0-50 in lb, 30-200 in lb and 5-120 ft lb wrenches. The smallest is used for torquing scope rings, the middle one is used on larger nuts that spec a little more (some crossbolt scope mounts specify 55in lb). The largest is primarily used for barrel nuts and castle nuts.

I have a borka kit, it is not cheap but it is awesome and I use it a lot more then I thought I would. It has a nice ratchet that can take up to 200 lbs of force and the bits it comes with are really nice quality.

Torque wrench for my AR and a Fat Wrench for tightening scope rings, mounts, etc... I feel that they are cheap insurance to have when working on any of my firearms.

I have a Proto 1/4" in/lbs torque wrench I can adapt to about anything.

Yes. I have both inch pound 1/4" drive, and ft. lb. 3/8" drive and an even larger 1/2" drive version. I use each, but only for the few tasks that require consistent, accurate torque, like scope bases and rings, barrel nuts and such.

I bought the Borka kit and use the crap out of it on my guns and bicycles. It s amazing how much stuff is torqued to in/lbs.
I would say it is my top 5 most favorite purchases of all time. |

Yes, I used to wrench, mostly on show cars/drag race vehicles. I have Matco and snap on torque wrenches and now all they get used on is my gun stuff.

Indispensable for action screws and scope mounts. Different rifles like different amounts of torque on action screws.

I use a wheeler FAT wrench (torque bit driver) for mounting any mounts or rings. I use torque wrenches for AR barrels.
Specs exist for a reason... |

Not yet. But will. I bought a $15 Harbor Freight 20-50 ft lbs. torque wrench. Can these be trusted, or should I spend the coin for more reliable brand?
