Looks great!  I have the punisher logo on all my rifles and handguns.  Did you use a stencil for that in your camo job?  Looks ask cool.  Let me know.

Decided to try rattle can DuraCoat. Stuff is awesome!!  Only the Eject port cover on the bottom rifle is DuraCoat from a vendor. Every thing on the top three I painted.   I hate to spray paint.  But DuraCoat is fantastic!!!

Just want to say I painted my SBR with that same paint and elected not to bake it, just in case I decided I didn't like it. Months later, I didn't like it. I was able to remove it with Citristrip and a toothbrush fairly easily.

Please post any you have or feel free to PM them to me. I'm really interested in this pattern depending on how it looks from far away and at different angles.

Noveske marked Vltor VIS2A is out. In with a new BCM M4 upper and a Noveske NSR9. Then I figured I might as well give it a new paint job too.
Foliage green ladder rail covers for the top rail and foliage green NSR grip panels/ handstops are in the mail on their way to me to finish it off.

Now I gotta paint up a few mags to match.

Rustoleum satin oregano and dark brown base with those two colors plus warm Carmel, satin fern krylon, satin graphite, and dark taupe sponged over top. Then shot it with krylon flat clear.

I love the warm Carmel color in it. Should work well in my AO. Especially with autumn right around the corner.

Thanks for the complement!  I tried to copy the VN tiger stripe for the green one and then sort of mimicked it with desert looking colors for the tan one.  I used a base coat of Krylon or Rustoleum camo spray paint and then painted the rest with cheap paintbrushes.

I decided I was going to repaint my helmet from the snake skin type camo that I painted awhile ago, gave a shot at MultiCam and well... take a look.

Too me... its more Woodland, Id like it to be MultiCam Any Tips on achieving it?
Sorry for big pictures.I tried using Blue Painters tape but it wont stick on the rough texture. So I took paper plates and cut random patterns.
If I was trying to Camo it with Woodland, how would you rate my job?

I think Im going to respray it with a Light (Army Green Rustoleum) Green, and then recut patterns better for each set of colors. use more light colors. I think my brown may also be too dark.

Take it outdoors and photograph it in a wooded setting from let's say 50 yards away, if you can still see it in the photos repaint it, if you can't leave it alone.

My and the GF did this the other night. She is too nervous to paint hers so i let her do my spare loaner gun. Using Primary Arms stencil. I will be honest i must prefer tape to this stencil. It lifts off too easily while curving around the contours. All in all not a bad job.

I for the life of me have to remember to take before pictures, but anyway. Guy brought me a H&R .410 Pardner completely covered in rust head to toe. Did a full tear down, clean/polish/sand, and 5 coats of cold blue...not to bad.

Here is the luger ..... refinished.... total time I spent about 12 straight hours. Okay from the original the outside was cleaned up mostly and touched up, with old gun like this didn't want to do to much to its age. On the inside this thing was rusted top to bottom, I spent 7 hours hand sanding, polishing, every part in there. The action is nice and crisp, replaced a lot of worn springs, etc...

I re did my copperhead pattern on my Mk.II fvsr.

Before

I sorta followed offroader1006's Thread here but ended up straying away from it on some parts. I did the initial full FDE/tan and then taped off and did dark brown for the under scales. I decided against red. Put mesh on, then I used FDE down the middle and faded it to darker brown and a touch of metallic bronze on the sides. That gave me this after I un taped.

Next I went back and ripped masking tape again to cover the edges and a small portion of the initial tan. You can see these fde/tan lines in between the pattern change. On those I then added scales to the fde/tan starting with a dark strip in the middle and blended to a lighter brown on the edges. I then removed the mesh and dusted a tiny bit of black on the edges. So you end up with dark brown scales in the middle and light brown scales on the outside slightly darkened on the edges with black, and fde/tan under the scales. Then matte clear the whole thing.
