They said about 60 days from then, which I know is an extremely conservative estimate. How long is it normally taking from this point till when you receive the form? Six month ago I would receive the approved form 2-3 weeks after the "sent to examiner" date.

It is steadily working its way towards a wait of over 12 months. My guess is anyone who has Form 1 or 4s with check cashed dates in January will not see an approval before the end of 2013. Sadly I am included in that lot. I have an SBR form 1and a form 4 for a can that went pending the first of Feb which I do not expect to see approved until 2014.

6933 FINALLY went pending today.
A month from submission of the Form 4 for the check to clear, and then 2 months to go pending.
If I'm lucky, I'll get it sometime in Janurary....

Mine went pending in Feb. Monday, i got an error letter. I sent back the corrections tuesday. I called thursday morning to check. The tech said he had my correction and it would be a month before it goes to the examiner.

This is crazy. It goes from a 5 month wait to a 9 month wait in 6 weeks. FBHO

Sandy Hook and the resulting gun grabbing talk sold more NFA items in 2 months than were probably sold in the previous 15 months.

That is interesting...I also called yesterday on my Form 4 (Trust) that had a pending date of 1/28/13. I was told that mine went to the examiner on 6/5/13 and that the approval would be 45 to 60 days from the date it went to the examiner. Sounds like they are not being consistent with ETA's. I hope for both of us that what I was told was the more accurate timeframe. From what I've seen on nfatracker there wasn't that much of a difference between the times it takes the respective examiners to get from pending to approved.
