I recently picked up an M1 carbine and need to find a few more magazines for it. I haven't been able to find any on the CMP forums that were affordable. Any decent ones out there you've had success with?

I have had good luck with the Korean surplus mags...

Plenty of mags on CMP fprum between $15-$25 . Thats the going rate for USGI mags

The Korean ones work pretty good in my limited use . I would not hesitate to buy more , Seems like the best magazine they make .

Bought three original GI's for $25.00 each at the Vero Beach Gun Show earlier this month.
The Dealer was from the West Coast and this was his first time over here on the East Coast.
Unfortunately, such bargains are rare around here.

Check your local shops. One near me sold a pile for $10-12 per USGI 15 round magazine.

If you cannot find USGI originals, the Korean 15s and 30s are good to go.

This. I just purchased 15 USGI 15rd mags NIW for $10 a piece.

How do the Korean 30's function? Are they G2G reliable? My latest U.S.G.I. was found a few weeks ago in a box of scrap metal/tools I pulled out of a barn. It is new in wrap. The box also contained two garand enblocs full of LC Match.
