I love my Butler Creek Liberty Model. I'll warn you though. Some rifles will rock fore and aft in these stocks. Meaning the rounded hump of the receiver will move up and down in the stock. There is a fix for it. I think when the stock comes out of the mold it can warp slightly or possible with time as the middle section around the mag well is very thing.
If you have this issue... with an empty stock, no barreled action in place, side folder extended, place the butt pad on the ground between your feet. Press the forearm in towards your body while pushing the receiver section away from you. It will flex in the thin area around the mag well. Be gentle but firm. I might have done it...1....2... 3 times than reassemble. It fixed it and has not returned.
My BC side folder was old new stock from Ebay for less than $100. I got one at Cabela's for instant gratification but they charge $144.
It went back. The checkering is much sharper on my older one. I guess the molds are worn down for current ones.
