I've got a D3 and I'm looking for a PC. I like the look of that BFG. How did you attach the D3  at the top( which clips). It looks like the BFG doesn't come with clips on the top front of the carrier

FYI, I bought a Blade Tech Revolution holster for my XD, and if you remove the mounts (belt or paddle) it's a nice tight fit into the side pocket.  Very good retention and the holster has adjustable retention as well.  Here's the holster:

The same holster for my full size 1911 does not retain in the pocket.  It's a bit too thin (left to right in the pocket).

What clips did you use to mount this to the Banshee PC? I've seen a few ways, just curious as to what you found worked as some seemed cobbled together. Also, is that the Kryptek Mandrake pattern?

I'm looking at picking one of these up for my first piece of gear as it would get what I need at a good price.

Mayflower LPAC.  I'm not a big fan of the H harness used on the D3, but I'm very impressed with the plate carrier integration.

Sorry about that, I don't visit this section of the ARFCOM very often. I've had a few people ask me about my setup. Here's some pics.

Looks like one could almost attach side plate pockets now that there are two rows of straps along the side.

I just ordered a Velocity systems LWPC. I was on the fence about getting a Beez or Banshee for awhile for my AR500 plates and passed the last time Velocity was available but added up the cost of modifying carriers to accept the D3. Velocity's in stock here.

https://store.appalachiantraining.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=LWPC

This is the only other place I've seen them in stock every now and again.
