I have been thinking of getting one of these for a while now but it's been an on again, off again idea.  I like the idea of a compact bullpup that works well in tight spaces.  However, I see so many mixed reviews on their functionality that I am concerned about spending that kind of money on something that may not work.  How have the current crop of shotguns been working?

My Gen2  has been flawless but I consider it a range toy. I have a Mossberg Tactical 18" 590 A1 for home defense withe a nordic component +2 tube

I wanted one too. But like you I've seen a lot of negative things about them. I've decided I'm going to get a 590A1.

The Gen 1s gave the bad rap. The now Gen 2s are good to go from what I've read, and my Gen 2 has been flawless for almost a year now. The only drawback is that it's loud and kicks like a mule!
