Dont know if anyone has seen this but there is a recall on some FNXs for the trigger bar.Call 1- 855- 536- 4872 ext 132 to check and see if yours is affected.

The Trigger bar hangs up... Guess I'll be calling them. Thanks! ETA: They say mine isn't one of them affected. Still gonna have to get ahold of somebody about the trigger bar hanging up... |

Good info! I called and I'm safe. Last 4 in serial number is 7xxx.
Edit: I read on FN forums that the recall is for FNX-45 Edit: Date on test cartridge is 11/28/12. |

Called and my FNX 45 Tactical was not affected with a date on the fired round of 1/23/13

Not a 100% sure but I think its just the FNX .45, but if it was me I would call to make sure,it only takes a minute

It is only the 2012 manufacture date models.
my FNX 45 tac is a 3/13 and it is ok. I think this wont need to be tacked much longer |

My 2nd FNX 45 (black) is on layaway and per Tara of FNHUSA, mine is not affected either.

I did get an e-mail from fn, I ask if it was only the 2012 models. They said it is both the 2012 and 2013 models.

I guess I will call tomorrow about mine, but from the range and date of serial numbers I am reading here I feel mine will be ok.
It is (partial) FX3U01xxxx and it is not the tactical model. The test round was fired 3-22-13. I hope it does not have to be returned.... |

I received my call today and mine is not effected. I asked if there was a definitive list or range of effected serial numbers and they said no. It was specific versions, both the tactical and the non-tactical that were effected within a 7 day time period of manufacturing.
My past reply with serial number and model are listed. |

Just got home from fun store after renting one at the range and torturing sales person with my indecision ( resources do not support the " get both" mantra of Arfcom) I bought it, brought it home for the first cleaning and log on and find this..... made the call now hoping this goes well, really like this gun...shot it next to a few others and kept coming back to it. I hope mine is not on the recall list....bolloks |
