Let's see your 1911's with VZ grips!

I'll post pics later, still waiting for my VZ Slim Gators to arrive...

Check out the tacked gun gallery thread at the top of the 1911 forum.  There are tons of VZ grips in there.  I'd also like to see some more pics, especially anything with an OD green color.

Having just bought a Les Baer PII, while waiting on it to arrive tomorrow I've been considering a new set of HGs for it.  I don't like the look of wood grips for myself, but have considered that it may be a form of heresy to dislike wood grips on bluing.

So hivemind does anyone have pics of VZs on a blued 1911?  All you ever see is VZs on black painted finishes.  Or am I the only one to consider such a heresy?

No one has any 320's?  I've been wanting to see some different colored 320's on stainless.  I'm thinking about buying a set for my Baer since the factory wood grips are less than comfortable when I don't wear an undershirt between the gun and my skin.

I carry my 1911 with Diamond backs without a shirt underneath. You get use to it after awhile, or maybe a callus just builds up on your side

The Aliens and Operators are alittle too abrasive for carry but you'd have to judge that for yourself.

Ignore boat anchor (yes, still grinding the axe )

The grips are great though! However, if you get sweat/CLP/whatever on them, they darken up and absorb it into the surface (no deeper, just surface). You need to clean them off to restore them to looking this way.

It's an Ed Brown Special Forces.  Yeah, the new operators are way to sharp for my taste.

My latest, and very much in need of breaking in. It was a gamble, but I really like how the little bit of green looks on the dull stainless finish.
