I brake for animals, if they're big enough to dent my car.
What did you expect would happen? Next time give him a block of clay with some wires and batteries. |

Nice pics! I hope to have a Ex-Police Luger double dated 1920 over 1917 soon. It's inbound and should be here early next week.

I have no idea P08! Actually I would need you guys help me to find out more about this Mauser.
Anyway yes, rumours here in Italy say that it should be from the '70, but the blueing looks like it was made few days ago. I bought that yesterday and I spent half night removing the preservative grease on the mechanic. The complete absence of wear on the rails shows that it was never fired. Below the trigger plate I found some marking. I've identified the first as a proof of test with smokeless ammo, the second is the logo of the testing facility in Koln-Germany, the third is "KI" that I suspect is the year of the test, but I'm not sure, the forth and last is a kind of "F" on top or 2 "W". I really appreciate if somebody could educated me about my new p08. Paolo |

Take some more pictures of it and post them. I will have to see, but I know that Mauser reworked quite a few WWII Lugers in the 70's. Most I think stayed in the European market. |

I've got a 1930's Broomhandle, converted to 9mm. Finish is probably in the 90% + range. It is matching # except the hammer. It also has a matching # holster/stock w/ no harness. Any guess on the apx. value?

I bought this Russian capture P38 (ac45) from R Guns in (near) Chicago IL.Numbers match and it looks unfired (I know! The Russians dipped these things in EL MARKO ink).Haven't shot it yet (it's either 101 degrees or its raining).
Attached File (EDIT) I have shot it since the first post, Shoots good, runs fine, and gets looks at the range. |

I just picked up a 1911 DWM Luger tonight. It has some funny-looking pearl-type grips on it. I'll try to get a pic later.

About $1000. You may want to go up to www.gunbroker.com & check what guns like it are going for. Use search terms of C96 or Broom |
