A gun is just a tool. The real weapon lies behind the face in the mirror.

Who makes them? I replaced the sights on mine with Wilson's too. I went with the U-notch rear and the green fiber front. Way better than the factory sights! Nice group too! |

Ordered a titanium cylinder for my 442 pro and had it installed. Shaved about 1.5 oz off. I love these j frames and the gray on black is neat. |

Dry fire feels about the same. |

Looking for my first .45. Satin nickel Colt Combat Commander serial # 70SC85412 sold at a gun show in Louisville KY sometime in 1985. My Avatar, my sweet princess girly girl Maggie. Got a nice 15 years with her, miss her a lot.

My current S&W collection:
Attached File I have a 6" 10-5 tapered barrel and a 640 currently on layaway, as well. |

Picked up this S&W 1905 3rd change today for $300. Round butt (someone along the way put square conversion grips on), 4” barrel. Serial number 236xxx puts it in the 1909-1915 range. Not in terrible shape for a ~108 year old gun. Looking forward to getting it cleaned up and taking it to the range. Also on the hunt for a set of round butt grips for it.

Added a 640 Pro Series to the J frame collection. I’ve got a 19 Carry Comp on order as well.

I was going to go with a nice set of wood but most didn’t work with the moon clips or the full length extractor rod so I ended up with the old tried and true CT grips for my 640 Pro.

Have you thought about trying wadcutters? They are on my list to try. The blood was after 100 rounds of 158 lrn. Pretty sure my hand split from being so cold/dry |
