Gorgeous piece! How's the fit and finish? I'm considering one, but none of the shops local to me has one in inventory, so that leaves Gunbroker/et al. But the last time I purchased a high-end Colt online (Custom Shop Gunsite model), there was a pretty serious issue that resulted in it having to go back to the factory. Long story short, Colt couldn't easily replace it so they cut me a check for the purchase price.

Very nice. I'm currently shooting a CCO too. I just didn't want to spend the coin on a Clapp till I found out how I liked/shot that small of a package, So I ended up with a springer. It has sold me on the CCO.

I've been drooling over these. It'll be my next 1911.

Wiley Clapp sounds like a horrible STD from the wild West.
I keed, I keed...
Nice pistol man, I have a Ruger Wiley Clapp GP-100 and it's a decent little gun, no Colt 1911s yet but I need to change that once I earn some more money.
