I'm looking for a good handgun mounted light that's not cheap junk, but not wanting to pay $300+ either. I would however would pay a little extra if most companies offer holster designed to fit that particular light. Host is Glock G41 with threaded barrel.

Or the tlr-1s. Both good lights for a good price.

I think Primary Arms has the TLR1 on sale right now...might be someone else though, got a lot of "Shot Show Sale" emails.  It is a GTG light.

I forgot, I used to have one of those years ago. Loved it, I think it was the s model, had strobe. What's the HL model?

High Lumen.
600 lumens instead of the regular 300

HL is the same size and 630 lumens, just get that for 15-20 bucks more than the regular model

Inforce APL first choice, TLR-1 second choice (both are excellent, depends upon your controls preference).

I use the HL on my handguns and SBRs. I'm a fan.

Surefire X300...not 300 bucks, and not a Streamlight.

I just ordered an Insight APL to test and probably replace my TLR-1s

With the Surefire X300 Ultras out, there's lots of regular old X300s out there for sale on the cheap.

I have carried both the SF and the TLR-1 on duty.

I vastly prefer the switch on the SF.  More positive and less prone to AD's.

cheers,
