Got my two kits today Some observations: A) Both kits game with two sets of large and small detents and springs. Weird. B) Fit both halves of the decocker assembly together several times, before you put them in the gun. It's a real tight fit. Some oil may help. C) If you have an AR15 gas block roll pin starter, it fits the new, single, roll pin. You may find it easier to start the roll pin in the right side decocker prior to assemby. D) Go slow. Protect the finish on the gun. Official BUSA instructions: http://www.berettausa.com/en-us/g-kit-instruction/ |

Thanks for the info. Price was "ouch", but I got a set anyway. Couldn't resist.

Neat The M9A3 guys should be rejoicing.
I own an M9 to own an M9; if it was a gun I'd be willing to modify I'd pick these up in a heartbeat. |

$10.95 shipping........??
Anyone got a code for free shipping. The %15 off code works. |
Cool! I just ordered one for my 92a1 and another for my 92fs compact.
Thanks for the heads up, OP. |

Are the levers made of steel? I am ordering a kit anyway, just wondering.
I have a Wilson Combat Low Profile Safety on my 92 Compact. Any guesses as to whether this kit would work while keeping that lever?
Not as far as I know. I have the Wilson single sided lever on mine now. When my kit gets here I will try it.
Damn, wish I had a discount code. Ouch is correct for the price + shipping. However, I will have me a G model soon.

Ordered one for my fs and an oversized mag rel. for my A1. Qualified for free ahipping. My fs has a Wilson lo pro which I don't care for. I much prefer the standard Wilson single sided safety in my A1.

Still waiting for the factory beretta threaded barrel............ complete crap they don't offer an OEM threaded barrel.
I wish they would have released these prior to me installing Wilson Combat low profile levers on my 92 series pistols. Still, a very cool option for any future purchases I may make.

92FS to G kits are available... aaaaaaaaaaaaand they're gone.
They sold out their supply of 300 a few hours after making them available, don't think they realized how much demand there would be for them. A Beretta employee that posts over at the Beretta forum said it shouldn't them take too long to re-stock them.
At $55 a set they would have sold 3k no 300.
I would have bought 2 sets and cried a little but would have gotten over it quickly |

Installed mine today.
As per the OP. The fit between the two levers is very tight. The fit of the main lever inside the slide was so tight it wouldn't function. I uninstalled it and filed the finish off the cylinder and it works great now. Love it on my m9a1 compact edc |
Received and installed mine today in a 92FS. It took way longer than it should have. Parts fit well, but I had a hard time figuring how how to correctly install the return spring. Nice for Beretta to include extra plungers and springs, its a good chance you may lose one or two.

Not compatible with Wilson's low pro lever.
Wouldn't work on my Brigadier. Will try it on my old 92F. |
View Quote I've seen a few pictures of these G levers that point at a downward angle. The M9a3 safety levers point slightly upward though. I wonder why the change? |
I thought the exact same. Waiting on word from busa. Installed them twice with same result.
Is the lever stiff? People have been saying it needs to be worked a little and lubed because the coating is a bit thick.
I had to do a little sanding on my cylinder and work the lever a lot and drop some oil on it when I was installing it on my Brigadier slide which didn't work so when I stuck it in my 92F, it was already smoothed. |

View Quote The levers on my M9A3 pointed upward, with the G conversion the levers are level. Since the intent of the upward slanting levers was to avoid accidentally moving the levers to safe it's not really necessary with the G conversion. |

Nice to know these kits exist, even though they are sold out.

After looking at a Youtube video regardng the installation of these kits, it appears that the right side decock lever sticks way out from the slide. Can anybody confirm this?
Yes, the right side decock lever does stick out farther than the standard safety lever. Is it less attractive? I think so. Is it a big deal? IMO, no. I train with and carry my 92A1, so the advantage of the decock lever outweighs the aesthetics. This is just my opinion, of course. That being said, if Beretta were to come up with a way to delete the right side decock lever, I would purchase it. |
Thanks. I thought it looked a bit funky in the video i watched, just wanted to confirm. If they do a single sided decocker setup in the future I will likely look at it further. Personally, I wouldn't want the lever to stick out further than the factory lever does. All but one of my 92 series pistols have the Wilson Combat low profile, single sided safeties installed and I really like how they slimmed up the rear of the slide.

Now that these are out there and show it can be done without machine work, I would like to see Wilson offer a low profile version....

View Quote The problem I see is the return spring utilizes the right wing. If it does happen I don't see how it would be as streamlined as the single sided safety without re-engineering the spring system |
