92S threaded barrel?

Will any aftermarket M9, 92FS threaded barrels work in the 92S?

I have always wanted a M9 or similar for a range gun. But would like to suppress it. With the recent batches offered for sub $300 they are more temping now than ever.

I believe the regular 92 barrel will fit. Dad has both, I will have him test.

My understanding is that they fit. But I've never tried it. It was one of the things I researched before I bought a sight-unseen used 92S.

I had my 92S barrel threaded for 60$ and use it with my suppressor. It was cheaper than a whole new barrel.

Same here - A person lists the service on ebay for $60.

With a smooth thread protector it looks like factory non-threaded barrel best of both worlds, price is right.
