My new MK25 showed up last Monday, got a chance to take it to the range today and it did not disappoint. Shot a mix of Winchester white box and Brass Max, no hiccups. It's my new favorite pistol.

I almost got the mk25 bought went with the extreme. The sells guy said it had the same coatings as the mk25 but with the sweet G10 grips..........I really bought the gun because of the grips.

I think the combat has the phosphate internals, not the extreme.
I'll be buying another set of grips for mine at some point, nice looking pistol.

Now suppress it.. My 226 is a pleasure to shoot suppressed with sub sonic ammo.. Can spend hours without hearing protection and all you hear is the bullet impact the steel. By far my second favorite pistol to shoot.. Hard to beat a suppressed Ruger 22/45

Did they make a factory MK25 desert w/ threaded barrel? Haven't seen one from factory, only with replaced factory barrel.

Not that I've ever seen, no.
Nice pickup. I too have a MK25, and then put a set of the Hogue G10 grips and now it's pretty much perfect. I got the factory threaded version.
Just need an SRT kit and I'll be stout.

P226 combat with G10 grips. Debating sending it to SIG for the SRT and action enhancement. Anyone have experience with that?
Fresh out of the box

Me too. Wideners had them a couple of weeks ago for $790. I should have ordered one.

While not a MK25 I picked up new a P226 Nitron in 9mm a couple days ago as my first Sig. I shoot mostly polymer handguns so nothing has given me a wow factor until I took this gun to the range. Its like a Cadillac in the form of a handgun.
I got a SRT kit, Mec-gar 18rd magazines, and some Alien Gear holsters all ordered up. I plan on giving it a go as a carry gun once jacket weather becomes the norm.
