When was this conversion made and at what serial number?

Found some deals on P250's on TexasGunTrader but don't want to get a Gen1 gun.

The Gen 2 is a better functioning gun. The Gen 1 just feels better in hand.

I was surprised that the frame is interchangeable.  My buddy (sig test engineer, Academy instructor) uses a P320 with a Gen 1 grip and baseplates. If I could find the baseplates I'd do the same when I get my P320.

Glad to see a thread asking the right question.

For years all discussions of the P250 revolved around rock-throwing at the "P250" with no differentiation made between the Gen 1 and the Gen 2.

Glad to know the Gen 2 is getting some positive press.

Yes, I got a 1st gen mag floorplate and just swapped it out with a 2nd gen floorplate.

Also the gen 1's ONLY came in compact, no full size or subcompact.
