Ameriglo Pro Operators

XS Big Dots

Both use trijicon tritium so they're good quality.

You will get a lot of options with that question, I used Trijicons, Meprolight, but now my favorite is the XS Big dot.

Only one benefit I can see with the Trijicons.  I have GNS on 6 pistols and Trijicons on one.  The dot is sharper to the eye on the Trij.  It does seem to be a little smaller than the GNS dots though.  I haven't tried any other night sights.

Truglo TFO if you want sights that are as bright in the day as they are at night.

XS bigdot 24/7 Sights with Trijicon Tritium inserts.

Come with everything needed to install into a Glock except a flat file.

Use the Trijicon sights they are much brighter than the Glock sights.

The front sight installs with a screw.  Just need a nut driver for it.

thats what i have on my G19

I like the Trijicons on mine. I get the yellow in the rear and green in the front set up on my 19 and 26. You can order them from Lone Wolf.

Yes it is.  Everyone who has seen my Glocks agrees.  There is a reason that all 4 of my Glocks wear ameriglo pro operators.

I am going to differ from all of the above and suggest Heinie Straight 8s.

Expensive, but worth it.

Ditto!  That's a pic of my G26 with a set of yellow/green Pro Operators installed.  I cant recommend them highly enough!  A little extra "white space" on the sides of the front post... white ring on the front sight only draws your attention... yellow/green tritium makes a world of difference when daylight light starts to fade.

Dig around/wait for holidays, and you'll find discount codes that makes them light on the wallet too.

If you type in GSSF into the code box you get 25% off

I'll give a +1 to XS Big Dot NS.  Got them on my G19 and G21SF.  Love them.  Any future carry gun will have them.

hotrodtba, how is the accuracy of the Big Dot sights at say 15-25 yards?  I have thought about trying a set for the quick acquisition properties of the sights, but have wondered about longer distance accuracy.

Longer range accuracy might degrade just a touch, but for a defensive handgun sight, the loss is not that big of a deal when compared with the fast target acquisition you gain.  Check these  videos out.

+1 Something like the setup shown in the thread above would be your best bet IMO. Do not waste your money on any "3-dot" setup. Rear tritium is expensive and completely unneeded

XS makes good sights but I just could not get used to them.  I'd go with a Trijicon 3-dot green/green setup.

I have the same set up on my 19. I like the contrast. I got them from optics planet and saved a few $s.

When you are moving around alot in dark conditions, its easy to lose the front sight unless you have something to index it with.

I very much prefer a 3 dot tritium setup.  I also prefer a blacked out iron with a white circle on the front.

Hence why Ameriglo Pro Operators fucking rock.
