Any word yet on what the issues were with the 17M models ?

Upward spring tension on the take down bar is what it appears to be but Glock is still diagnosing the exact issue and will probably backward engineer a simple fix.

After all the anticipation for a new, perfect FBI pistol, all we have is a great big fizzle.
I was more interested in the 19M. Is there any word on when we will get to see it?

Yeah that what it's sounds like after reading the description of the problem. Hoping one of the IMPD guys will give us a definite answer when they know. Also hope this thread doesn't turn into the train wreck the last one did.

why wouldn't the old springs/slide lock have been retained for use in this new design? Was this ever an issue for previous generations?
