And apparently they do!

Bought my first back in October. A G17 in all FDE from lipseys. Never cared for glocks for the most part but really liked this one.

Then I learned about the Vickers edition coming out and really wanted one with those features. I almost got a 19 when i bought my first, so i ordered one of those. And while I was waiting for that one the opportunity arose for a really nice, lightly used G30S.

I'm a total convert. They're simple and solid. I shoot them as well as I shoot anything else and I like having a consistent platform for multiple gun calibers/configurations.

So now I have 3...but I think this is the winning combination I'm sticking with.

And a G21...best "fighting" 45acp on the market IMO.

Also need a G23.  It's exactly the same size as your G19, so it will share holsters.  Also, it's good to have a .40 around during ammo panics.

Agreed about a 40. I'm no hurry tho - I'll wait till I find a cheap police trade-in somewhere.

Ummm...ok....your move:
Gen3 Glock 23 trade in - $349+$15 shipping.

Buy them all so I can keep resisting...it is getting harder.

I've been considering switching from 45/10mm to 9mm. Of course the G21 has a lot of sentimental value and the G20 would still be quite useful as a hiking gun, so that means I need a G34 or two. I also recently shot a G42 and find it much easier to use than my j-frame, so I may be trading that shortly.

Ive managed to just stick with the RTF2 variants.  Thankfully an RTF2 17 has not crossed paths with me yet.

yeppers;  quite a few years ago when I just started the gun addiction, I think I amassed five or so Glocks.

Now I have lots of other stuff, but I am back up to three Glocks, one of which I just bought a couple of days ago; G21 SF.

I love the Glock.

Word of advice wen it comes to the .40 and .357, try them before buying them. Glocks are light and while the recoil from .40 and .357 are not abusive it is enough to slow down follow up shots/or out run your accuracy.

Nice.  I'm partial to 9mm Glocks.  I just sold my 24C and 21SF and picked up a 17 Vickers, FDE Gen 4 19, and a Gen 4 17.  Only non-9mm left is my 20SF.  Now I have 2 each of 34's, 17's and 19's.  A 34 would round out your collection nicely.

Heh, I had a run-in with this phenomenon myself last week.  Already have a 19, a 26, and a 34 (all gen 4).  I had no plans to get another for quite some time, but while out and about hitting the local gunstores with an old friend, what do I spy but a very lightly used gen 4 19...

...for $475...

...with Trijicon HDs already installed.

Um, yes please.

This!  OD G17 and G19 RTF2 hopefully, to satisfy my OCD.

From L to R: OD G3, OD G4, FDE G3, FDE RTF2, FDE G4 G19, then repeated for the G17

Sorry for the crap pics but here's my updates collection and newest addition:

RTF2 Gen3 G22

All four:

I'm thinking I might be done. But Im also thinking I need a bigger 45 but can't decide between the 21 and 41...

Happy Sunday!

Also - I LOVE the RTF2 22. One of the most ergonomic handguns I've ever held. And it's in immaculate shape. If I can find a gen 3 rtf2 17 I might have to say goodbye to the FDE one. It's definitely more grippy than the new texture on my Vickers 19 too.

Post 86 dealer sample?  Given that the G18 wasn't even produced until around the time of the 86 ban, if yours is a transferable gun on a form 4, you have quite the unicorn there.  I recall hearing there are no transferable 18's in existence, I could be wrong though.

They definitely do multiply... I decided about six months ago to dump my SA XD's and move to Gen 4 Glocks:

  • First I traded my XD 9mm w/ holster and TLR-1 for a 9mm SP2022 and SW40VE

  • I sold the SW40VE to a poor sucker for $300, and traded the SP2022 plus $100 for a G17.

  • I then sold my XD .40 and put that money plus $100 for a G21.

  • I then decided that I needed a G19, so I found one for $500

  • The next weekend I was at a gun show and found a lightly used G19 and haggled the dealer down to $425

  • I then saw another G19 on Armslist with extra mags and holster, talked the guy down to $450

  • I traded a Ruger SR9c to a coworker for a GP100... fondled it a bit, then traded it for a G17

  • I then traded my XD 45 w/ holster and TLR-1 for one last G19 and a pile of ammo.

  • A few weeks later I was thinking I really should have a .40 S&W Glock, and the next day CDNN emailed me a flyer where they had Gen 4 G22 police trade ins for $350

I think I'm done at this point until I find a cheap G40, and the unicorn single stack 9 comes out
