I have noticed a lot of questions and interest in seeing Glocks with red dot sights so why not create a picture thread to help that out some.

The HSP incog is a GREAT holster! It took a smidge over a month to get but is totally worth the wait. I absutely love it and have been wearing it for about four months now. It has Ameriglo suppressor height night sights from optics planet that cowitness really well with the trijicon RMR. It is an RMR 08 with the triangle which I actually really like. I did the grip reduction and stipple work and had it milled by Doug Presson of DP Custom Works LLC.

legal question: do you have to leave "glock 19 gen 4" on the slide or did you choose to have it milled around it?

I need to get some better pictures of mine.  All I have are terrible cell phone pictures.  G17 by L&M Precision, RM07, plain black suppressor sights, burnt bronze cerakote.

Very nice pistols.

I have a couple questions and this seems as good of place as any to ask. Firstly, who are some of you using to do the machining on your slides? Secondly, are there any issues with carbon build up, or even casings hitting your RMR?

I have been wanting to do this for a while, but I don't know much about it.

I haven't had any issues and haven't heard of anyone else having anything like that. I know the RMR can hold up to a beating too. I used Doug at DP Custom Works LLC

It gets lint on it from my shirt when I carry it, but it's not a problem.  If casings hit it, there is something very wrong with your pistol.  It would have to eject straight back and very low to the pistol.  I don't think it's even possible.

Sure....why not?

TSD Combat Systems G19- (didn't get a chance to take a "glory shot" of it before I went back overseas. )

G21 Gen 4 - (work by L&M Precision)

G19 - (work done by L&M Precision)

Unity Tactical ATOM Slide in FDE.....for a G19. I already have a factory threaded barrel, and an RM07 RMR for it. I have to buy a frame to put it on, once I get back from overseas.

I just got an email from OST that said they are lowering their prices for milling Glock slides for RMRs. The new price is $125 for any "OEM Glock slide", includes no blank plate or screws, but it DOES include the suppressor sights. The screws and blank plate are available for an additional fee (not sure how much).

They also said they've shortened their turn-around time to 2 weeks.

They mill the slide, they provide the suppressor sights, they install RMR and suppressor sights for $125?

They mill the slide, they provide the suppressor sights and they install the suppressor sights for $125. There is no RMR or RMR install included in that deal for that price. They do not include a blank plate or screws, but will for an additional fee. I assume they will provide the RMR and/or install your RMR for an additional fee as well.

This is the email I received on Monday:

Through some negotiations, we are able to cut down our cost on slide milling and turn around time. Our goal being to get this system into as many hands as possible, we are lowering the price on our Trijicon RMR installations from $280 down to $125!

As well, our turn around time looks like it may be cut from 30 days to as little as same week providing there are not backlogs in Trijicon's deliveries.

Here is the link to the Trijicon RMR Installation Package.

http://www.onesourcetactical.com/suareztrijiconrmrinstallation.aspx

If you have been putting off this because of cost, that problem is now gone.

And this is from the webpage linked above:

Send us your OEM Glock slide (any model) and our expert technicians will install our RMR Red Dot sight package. That includes milling the slide for the Trijicon RMR Red Dot Sight of your choice and adding the necessary TSD Suppressor Sights.

The suppressor sights come standard on the package.

If you select the options for "Modify for RMR - No RMR Sight (Mount/Screws Not Included)" and "No barrel thanks", the price is indeed $125.

FYI - The screws needed for mounting an RMR on an OST milled Glock slide are #6-32x3/8" (I have one of the pre-milled OST slides already).

Also FYI - I am not affiliated with OST in any way. I'm just a big fan of RMRs on pistols, and this is a smoking hot deal!

So how does running an RDS on top change the mechanics of operating the gun? Do you overhand or slingshot when loading or performing remedial action?
