The Glock 20 has caused me to neglect 15 other pistols and leave them in the safe. Everyone I know that has went 10 has never went back.

Make sure you can compare the 20 with the 20sf before you buy. The sf fit my hand better.

If shooting reloads use an aftermarket barrel with more case support.  I had a minor kaboom, blew my mag out, tried to blow the extractor out, and split my trigger.  Replaced the trigger and back in action.  Replaced the extractor for good measure.  Has had no issues since.  Parts availability, is a real plus for Glock's!

I've got a 10mm conversion barrel for my 21.    10mm+reloader=teh awesomness

My dad owns one. I only shot it once. I thought the recoil was really stout. Not impossible, but man that was pretty snappy. My dad had come up with a new load he assured me was safe.

I fired 5 rounds. looked at the cases, every one of them was cracked from the case mouth nearly all the way down to the case head.

In other words, I've never shot normal, safe 10mm ammo, but the one about to explode was pretty cool.

When I got my 10mm I ditched my .44. I shoot it well and very fast. As far as I'm concerned a Glock 17 and a 20 are the two handguns everyone needs.

You haven't been looking very hard then.  10mm comes up every other day in the handgun forums, and the G20 gets mentioned every time it gets brought up.

And FWIW, I love the G20.

Just pure awesome, especially if you reload. if you don't reload, start. most OTC 10mm is 40ish power levels.also pic up a 6in aftermarket barrel, maybe change out the recoil spring

Which company makes this? I just got a G21sf and I need this barrel, I have a few hundred reloads left from a G20 I once owned.

I have had my G20 for more years than I can remember.  I have two barrels, one stock and one Lone Wolf depending on what I intend to shoot.  For plinking I reload Laser Cast 180 cast bullets with 9.0 grains of HS6 and the Lone Wolf barrel.  This gun does a lot of four wheeling, goes hiking and is my hunting back uo weapon.  For these trips I use Corbon 180 or 200's.
Have other hand guns that I could use but always go with the G20.  Once you master shooting the 10mm with good loads you will really like it.

If you dont reload its probably not for you.

Bought mine in '02 and has never had a factory round fired in it. Got lucky and found 1k of new nickle brass super cheap when I bought it. All so scored a nice bucket full ( about 1.5 gallon worth) of once fired brass
for $10.

I carry mine as back up while  hunting and love it.

I love my 20SF.  I carry it a lot, except for when it would print too much.

Definitely a reloaders round. Double Tap makes some good factory stuff, but reloading it is much cheaper.

I am going to get a 29SF when the budget allows.

glock 20 love it;  10 mm love it enough that I also bought a S&W 610 so I could have best of both worlds, revolver and semi.  Both have about the same amount of felt recoil. I was even told by a fellow who had shot a Delta elite and shot mine said the glock felt better to shoot.

Bought my G20 gen2.5 & 2 cases of ammo, when I turned 21.  Only put about 1k through it so far.  Not much in 15 years. Been looking to start reloading and hunting with it.  I just picked up a 6" barrel on the EE.  Might leave the 44 in the safe this November!  See how whitetail feel about the ol 10 mil.

I picked up a G20sf off the EE last year and like it a lot...it had a lot of bells and whistles from the previous guy.  I have actually been thinking of going back to a heavier trigger pull.  That first shot was about as scary as shooting my 1928 winchester 94 with what feels like a 1-2lb trigger.

I keep missing the EE deals for a 6" barrel for it as well.  But its on the short list for sure.

Also looking for a G21sf as the attractiveness of caliber swapping for these 2 interest me a lot.

G20 to .40cal ––> drop in barrel
G20 to .45cal ––> G21 slide and mags
G21 to 10mm ––> drop in barrel and G20 mags

LOVE IT!

My edc is a 29. I love it. I shoot Mac Ammo thru mine. It isn't priced too high and it knocked the hell out of a hog I shot in Texas a couple weeks ago.

I just ordered 4 boxes yesterday and paid 60.00 for 80 rounds.

Nice. I love the looks of Glock subcompacts. I've been seriously considering a G29 for my carry gun...how controllable is the gun for follow up shots? I owned a G20C and it was very easy to control, but of course that's a larger frame, longer barrel and compensated.

The recoil is noticeable but controllable . We have 25 yard steels at the range and I have a hard time shooting this pistol that distance . I have no problem with my G22 and G23 i guess I need to practice more ?

Sounds like you're flinching.  Stout recoil can do that if you don't shoot it very much.  The 10mm should be more accurate as it is going faster and shoots flatter.

I shoot a ton of 40 in our shoots . I have some new Starline 10mm brass I just don't want to lose it in the snow. I will hit it hard this spring.
