How dare you. I read on AR15.com that this gun was NOT concealable....certainly impossible to carry AIWB. Heads will explode!!!

JK, I too carry my 19X AIWB. I love this gun.

I bought my gen 5 19 and a set of glock OEM night sights with the 6.5mm rear. My POI is now way high over my POA, with both the stock barrel and a Lone Wolf threaded barrel and TBRCI comp shooting 115gr and 124gr. I'm thinking I need the 6.1mm rear like the 19X comes with to get proper POA/POI. Can't afford it right now but will hopefully pick one up at some point.

View Quote Yes I did and thank you. It was easy because I put radiator hose clamps over the texture portions and sanded down the lumps on a belt sander. About two minutes, said and done.

Just replaced my standard sights on my gen 5 G19 to Glock night sights. No issues, same as gen 4.

Tools and everything is the same but the Gen5s are hitting way high compared to the others. I had to run .250 fronts on my 19s and my 26 looks to be the same. They all came with 6.1mm rears, wheras they used to come with 6.5s.
