Really like the looks of the Manticore units but the cncwarrior birdcage is tempting at half the price. What are you guys using?? Already have a form-1 filed so am just waiting till I can stock it up

To really hide the huge fireball, you're gonna need something effective.

I have no doubt on its effectiveness but I love money too

I wish I could shoot a few of them side by side including the 4pc krink style brakes as I have never shot one.

The CNC Warrior Bulgy style 4-piece should work nicely for hiding flash too, but last I checked they were actually more expensive than the Eclipse. On top of that they are more complex to clean, having 4 parts, and they are pretty heavy.

Check these out to help put your mind at ease regarding the price point.

Buy once cry once and we have a 30 day unconditional warranty- you try it and if you don't like it for any reason you can send it back for a full refund on the Eclipse.

Yes, you can TRY it and we will still take it back for a refund.

Sven, Don't suppose you have any "sent back" nightbrakes at a discount laying around that need a home?

Yeah I have no use for a brake. These guns are already super loud.

I would happily pay that for a quality suppressor adapter for this gun. If I could get a saker QD mount I would happily pay 100+.

I've never put my hands on any muzzle device or suppressor mount, for any type of fire, whose $100+ price tag was justified. YMMV...

Worth it or not that is not what I said and it is pretty irrelevant as far as what I am trying to figure out with this thread.

4Pc krink and Eclipse are almost equal, and are both better than the Nighshroud. (got some low light video coming of the Eclipse)

I went with the Manticore NightBrake. A little pricey, but very cool. It has great reviews.

Fair enough, it just seemed that you were being price-conscious when you said...

Between the two flash hiders, I think either one will accomplish the task. The Bulgy 4-piece has been proven to be effective over a long, long time. The Eclipse is likewise effective, and it is a much simpler device that is easier to maintain and has size & weight advantages.

Money is always at the top of my mind as long as quality doesn't suffer. The more I save the more I have to buy more toys.

Was going to buy a 5/8-24 adapter and run a 308 hider but I think it would be super long.

I was thinking the same route. Looking to see if someone else had experience with it. Pics as well. One vid was floating around with this set up but no close ups

I went with the AK builder 4pc FH.  People say it's better than the CNC 4pc.

Go look at you tube vids and you will see that 4pc works the best.  The 4pc will add a little weight, but it's marginal for performance.

I haven't shot mine in dark conditions yet, but the youtube vids do a very good job of comparing various FH in the market.

Edit to add: Gonna order the nightbrake later tonight as well and take advantage of the free shipping.
