Well guys they did it on the AR15 side and hopefully the moderators will not only allow it, but "thumbtack" this tread so it stays at the top.

Post your AK pics here so we have a library of AK pics to use for reference, drooling over, project ideas, etc.

How do those muzzle brakes work at reducing recoil? Any better than the AK-74 brakes?

Redbone,

The Arsenal brake is very effective...I have other guns that have the AK-74 brake on them, but not in 7.62x39....So I can't give you a side by side comparison of how well the Arsenal brake stacks up to the AK-74 brake.

Ive got both an 02 kobra, and an 03 model, and love em both. 1.8 moa dot, holds zero when taken off then remounted.
I prefer using the dot over chevron reticle best.

I'm considering an Arsenal SAM-7 Classic (blondie) but would like to hear some reassuring words from a SAM owner on quality, value, etc.

after all, I could own 2 SAR'S for what I will have to pay for a new SAM 7
tks.

Redfisher-
I love my sam7.  The classic is a beautiful rifle.  I highly reccomend them, but it depends on what you want to spend.  You could buy an sar-1 and a case of ammo, plus mags, for the price of the sam7 alone.  However, if you can afford the sam7, I don't think that you will be disappointed.

yea i like the sam- 7 too,  i think i will be getting one  before september. i 'm one of those that thinks the glass is half empty and a new more powerful gun ban is coming.
i hope i'm wrong.
