I just tried to find Cheaper than dirt on Google.  It doesn't look like they exist anymore, other than as a forum.  Also the retail value is way off for 500 rounds at $284.  I'd proceed with caution as a possible Phishing scam.

1500 rounds just put on backorder.  I don't think they'll honor that price, but i'd kick myself for not trying if they did.  Is 30 days the max they'll keep an order on backorder?

Please elaborate on this subject.  I know you texans have some funny laws (such as the deferred adjudication which to me is nothing more than extortion), but you're saying they HAVE to honor this price?

here is a question, what if they got a screaming hot deal on wolf 7.62, and could sell it for ~80 per 1500rds, and used the lower price to make us buy it and get their money back on shipping?

Hate to burst the bubble guys but you all are smoking crack if you think they will honor this price.   I made an order like this one time for primers.    I ordered 30k or so for about $120.   Natchez sent me an email and said they would not honor the price but offered to sell me the primers at their cost.   Their "cost" was higher than I can buy at the local gun show.   Get ready for some $170 per k 7.62x39mm.     That is why they call them Cheaper than Dirt.

I ordered some too, but I don't expect it to happen. An advertisment is an invitation to do business, nothing more. Mistakes are made and that doesn't mean people get to take advantage of them. If they honor the price they'll be doing it for PR.

I think the chances of them honoring the price are right up there with the chances of me becoming the leader of the free world, but hopefully they'll offer some nice coupons to ease my suffering when they tell me no.

I am wondering what the difference is between these two below. One is $3.80/500 and the other is $89.97/500. Both are Wolf 122 grain HP. The $89.97 one is in stock now and the $3.80 is backordered. Interesting.  Big difference in shipping charges between the two.
