I have a V11pro, and recently remove the handguard for cleaning, but cannot seem to get a torque wrench on the screws  because of the odd angle.

I know the directions explain how to hand tighten. However, it would be nice to properly torque them. Is there a solution?

The wrench I am using is a socket torque wrench. I have tried ball end hex bits but that only work for one screw and the tip broke off on another.

Would likely start them by hand first so you don't cross thread.  And you would have to find a really long allen wrench to be able to get a torque reading which likely wouldn't be accurate as there would be too much flex in the skinny wrench.

It really doesn't matter.  Use a little blue (medium strength) Loctite, snug the screws down, then give them a little extra.

I've installed a few DD handguards in this manner (a couple of them being uninstalled/reinstalled multiple times), with some being torqued down pretty tight, and none of them either stripped out or came loose during use.

No need to make this more complicated than it needs to be.

ETA:  Also, what needed to be cleaned so badly that you had to remove the handguard?  It seems you're making a lot of things more difficult than they need to be.

I actually tried the long allen wrench and it stripped the screws. I just sent out for 2 more sets (just in case)

I guess I'm going to have to bite the bullet, and do as you said. just snug them down with a little Loctite.

After going through two sets of screws and three trips to the hardware store it became somewhat of a mission at that point.

But thanks I appreciate the input

If you're looking for a little more input, stop removing the handguard to clean stuff.  Short of you submerging the gun completely in salt water and letting it sit for a few weeks, there's no reason to remove the handguard for cleaning.

Swap the Allen screws out for the proper sized Torx screws, then you should be able to use an extension easily and for me they don't strip out as easy.
