I've tried a lot of different things over the years -

RemOil
Hoppes Gun Oil
WD-40
BreakFree CLP
3-in-1
TW25B
FP-10
Probably some others I'm forgetting.

Settled on Weapon Shield, and that's what I use for everything.

Seal 1 paste - lube. it's great shoot with it in 10-100deg so far. It rock my AR's socks and makes my 1911 butta smooth.

Sweet's/Hoppe's/CLP regimine in the bore. CLP is too thin for me for lube.

I use a combination of motor oil, ATF, oil treatment and Hoppes #9 solvent. Makes a gallon, lasts forever and never a problem with any firearms I use it on.

TW25B its cold weather rated, and works great in the heat and sand. On a square range lots of oils work great including motor oil, tran fluid, Cleaners, WD40 ect.... its when you start using your gun in extremes you see what shines thru.

Mil-Comm products, it's all I use now. It isn't cheap but quality seldom is.
