New guy building an AR-15.  I'm trying to stay on the cheap side of high quality as I select my components. I want to get a 2 stage drop-in trigger with about a 3 1/2 lb break.  I want it to be good, but my budget can't afford $225.00 to $300.00 for a Geissele SSA-E or an AR Gold trigger.  Can anyone recommend a "High quality" trigger for around $150.00 or so?  Thanx in advance.

Any particular reason you prefer 2 stage to single?  At least with a ~3lb break, you're not making much of a difference.  CMC 3.5 single stages are 168 on Joe Bob's, and the JP original single stage is both well reviewed and tunable, not to mention $120 on their site.  You would have to supply your own hammer or get a "speed hammer" for 60 (not really necessary).  Joe Bob's also has the "basic" Geissele for $165.  But for 3-3.5 break there aren't many "cheap" options (all the "tuned" triggers by ALG and such are 4.5-5.5).  I'd look around more but I'm on lunch haha

Take a look at Rock River Arms National Match 2 stage.  Brownell's has them for $120, Ebay has them for $80.  http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rock-River-Arms-National-Match-2-Stage-Trigger-/191089421953

I'm going to throw you a bone here.  I've ordered two G2S triggers from this lady.  Her husband was selling the triggers on here but the thread was locked as they don't have a dealer account.  They bought a huge lot of these and were just trying to unload them on here.

They are listed in eBay for $130.  But if you email her at tell her you saw the ad on ar15.com she will give it to you for $100. Her email address [email protected]

The locked add her husband posted.http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_7_125/1336038_Geissele_g2s_2_stage_trigger_new.html

I was skeptical at first ordering but they are awesome triggers and brand new.

I was going to recommend the CMC 2 stage flat trigger, but it's still about $200 I think.
