I have both. Both are GTG assembly wise. The trigger is noticeably better in the Palmetto FWIW. The DD trigger is awful.

I say get the Palmetto.  I had two issues with my DD LPK.  I called, emailed and even posted to their forums and received no response back. Very disappointing.

Researching an LPK is a thorough process.  I ask 10 times myself before not taking any of the suggestions anyway!

Thats fine and all.. but creating 5 threads means that every single person that was kind enough to take their time and reply to this guys questions basically wasted their time. Clutters up the forum, pushes other threads back, and for what?  So we can do it all again tommorrow?

Basic forum etiquette.

I just installed a Daniel Defense LPK with a set of JP Springs. Very nice trigger pull. Very acceptable parts. Both of the kits you mention are well respected.

Just want to get all the information I can before I make a purchase on a LPK.

I'm not 100% sure, but the Palmetto LPK I just used appeared to be the same as a Stag.  It looked identical, down to the un-notched hammer.  The trigger pull felt the same as my other Stag LPK.  I've heard other people speculate that they're the same, too.  Stag has one of the best factory triggers out there.

Thats Intersting I wouldnt be surprised if they were the same. Ive heard alot of good things about them too from the research that ive done.
I wonder who makes their LPK. Do they?

The Daniel Defense has one of the better triggers in my opinion, I would go with the Daniel Defense

I was joking.  I completely agree with your original reply.
