I have been using the Surefire P2X Fury Tactical with thrym switchback as my bedside light for the past 8 months now.

Since I rely on this flashlight, should I rotate the batteries or just leave it alone?

Depends on usage. Lithium batteries tend to hold their charge over a long period of time if not in use.

You can find them cheap online though.

Streamlight 12pack $13.99

Surefire 10 pack $19.99

btw, I read on Elzetta's blog that there is only one US manufacturer of CR123 batteries, Panasonic. https://www.elzetta.com/blog/batteries/

All other "made in USA" are rebranded Panasonics, so the Streamlight, Surefire, Battery Station, etc CR123 batteries should be identical.
