With extensive patent research, we designed the tailcap of the new Elzetta ZFL-M60 with a unique adjustable throw pushbutton rather than a "lockout" feature. As the ZFL-M60 tailcap is unscrewed, the travel of the pushbutton increases. This allows operators to tailor the pushbutton to their personal preference. It also facilitates tailcap presses (ie pressing on the tailcap body rather than on the pushbutton) to momentarily activate the light when the tailcap is properly adjusted. When the tailcap is unscrewed nearly all the way, a quasi-lockout is obtained as the pushbutton throw become prohibitively long. The tailcap works very well and we have already received some great feedback on it. Also, there can be no question that Elzetta products can properly be labeled as "Made in USA". We design, fabricate, and assemble all of our products here without compromise (as does Gene Malkoff). When you buy Elzetta products your American money stays here in America! The unit looks good. I think it will be great! However, until the push-button is out (and I have more cash), I will probably not bite.
How does it heat-sink compared to a 6P? Also, massive props on not spamming our community with vaporware. I like that you have something to sell VERY soon after posting prototype pix/etc. Impressive. Great way to get and keep interested customers! Why don't you see if you can't teach Surefire this concept? |

The interior contour of the ZFL-M60 body matches the M60 brass heat sink exactly to maximize heat transfer.
