[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Streamlight Protac 1l-1aa pic rail mount?

I have a Streamlight Protac 1l-1aa on the way. Spec sheet says it is 0.85 inches in diameter. Was searching for a picattiny light mount for it. All the measurements looked like the light would either be too large or too small.

Has anyone mounted one of these and what did you use? I was thinking maybe the VTAC light mount. Seems like it has a bit of flexibility.

Any input would be appreciated.

VLTOR E Series Scout Flashlight Mount .810-.826inch

Part No. VLSM-E

I had to remove the tail cap and gently pry the mount open a little with a screw driver. It fits perfectly and the combo is lightweight.

Edit:

I am using a Protac 1L light.

This mount may not work with the Protac 1L-1AA.

Thanks for the reply.

I went ahead and ordered the VTAC light mount. It should hopefully fulfill my needs. It's just going on a Gen 1 S2K with the factory quad rail.
