1.25 inch UV treated nylon webbing.

After measuring, the nylon is cut and heat sealed with a hot iron blade. There are 3 seperate lengths of nylon webbing for each sling.

Cut and sealed.

Some of the seams of the sling are glued, then stitched. then the sling is further assembled, seams, glued, then stitched...repeat as many times as necesarry until the sling is complete.

Only the slings with the best stitching that have passed QC (my wife) get the profile tactical patch glued, then stitched on. The reject slings remain patch-less, get re-stitched..and are given away to my freeloading friends.

You already know what I think of your slings but I mind as well say it one more time, THE BEST SINGLE POINT SLING I HAVE EVER USED, BY FAR.

After slings are CQ'd, and the patches glued...the patches are stitched on, with a different thread, on a different machine. Here we see them being stitched on with the vintage Singer.

This is a Singer FeatherWeight 221 circa the mid 50's. I researched it a LOT before i bought one...and its a GREAT light duty machine. Beats the snot out of any of the plastic stuff currently made.

Pyro, i did actually just finish a batch of black, but unfortunately they are ALL being donated to the AR15.com yearly Team Member giveaway, along with a few hats i cobbled up just for the occasion.

I'm gonna have to get one of these. Maybe with one of those push-button releases on the buffer tube. That would be too cool.

Tip: Your hats are nice. But, it would be far better if you put the patch on the side so that it could only be seen when you're.......wait for it......in "profile". Get it? Original and funny!
