I have a new Burris AR-Tripler .

I put it in a Larue LT649-T since I had planned on going with an Aimpoint 3x on of these days. It lines up very well behind a Bobro 180 Mount. It is a bit on the chunky side but I haven't handled an Aimpoint 3x so I don't really have anything to compare it too.

It is a bit of a pain in the ass to mount since the front ring is 30.7 mm. Burris provides a free screw which you can use to expand the opening on the Larue mount. Once that is done the rest is pretty straight forward.

It is pretty nice as you can adjust it to center the dot if there is any misalignment with the forward optic.

I've had it out to the range a few times and it's seen about 500 rds so far. I was shooting groups under 1.5"'s today at 100 yds from a rest. With my eyesight I would never be able to get that tight unmagnified at 100 yds. It appears to be pretty durable.

This unit is very confusing.  If it is just a magnifier, what are the adjustments for?  Is it a red dot? a black dot?  Strange...

the adjustments are to align the dot in the4 forward sight to the center of the lens in the magnifier.....
