I just have a ta31 and got the red dot seperate and the front of the red dot hits the cap for the scope adjustment knob. I noticed yours has a slight "ledge" on the back of the mount whereas mine doesn't which might be part of my problem. In order to the ring to mount in the ring of the eyepiece, my bracket for the red dot is going to have to be offset towards the back a little bit like yours. Any help would be great! |

Sorry I just saw this I have a TA01NSN, TA31DOC and TA31F. The TA01NSN, TA01DOC, TA31DOC, TA31ECOS and TA01ECOS have the mounting anchors built-in, they're much easier to mount a JPoint type or Docter on than an ACOG without the two mounting points. I'm no big fan of the mount for ACOGs without the mounting points, it's not easy to install, and it needs to be almost flush with the eye piece. It doesn't look very robust either, I haven't dropped my TA31F with the red dot mounted on it yet, but the outcome will not be a happy one I think. |

are you really pointing your AR at a person's face? whether it's your face or someone else's is really irresponsible and fucking stupid.

the bolt+BCG was actually removed in this photo which i now realize still isn't good practice considering firearms safety rules, that was me in the photo and i never plan on doing such a thing again.
i apologize for attempting to be creative and only making myself look like an idiot. Good photos guys and happy shooting. |

I owned one AR much like this one a couple years ago...regretfully sold the upper. It's taken me a long time to build it back after recognizing the error of my ways. This baby is staying with Papa Hokie until it's pryed from his cold dead hands! But thank you for the indirect high five |

That is actually the EXACT configuration I'm planning for my next build 16" medcon middy gas, DD Lite 12.0, LaRue SPR, Troy BUIS, Harris BP, MagPul UBR and MIAD... I've yet to decide on the glass though. waht made you decide on the Burris over others? The reticle sure has my interest. |

The Burris is an excellent scope. I bought it to try it out. Since then I've made the decision to go back to using ACOGs exclusively as that's what I'm practiced with. I just sold the Burris. That said, for a true 1-4 variable, it's a very good option and IMHO is a player among all the other great low power variable options out there. I posted a review of it in the Optics forum. |

Anyone have a picture of a Trijicon Accupoint?
More specifically the TR20-G (Post reticle with Green Triangle) or the TR20-2G (Mildot Crosshair with Green dot) I have scoured the net, but can't seem to come up with anything. |

Tell us how you like the it? Does the reticle (dot or circle) bloom in direct sunlight? I can't decide whether to get the red or green horseshoe. |

I'd also like to see some greet reticles, particularly out of an acog (chevron, but I'd settle for a horseshoe or donut at this point!) |
