This is the trijicon ACOG TA31RMR. The TA31RMR is the crosshair model with the RM01 (3.25MOA dot). Super pleased with it... the red dot is nice to have and the combo keeps me from wanting to swap from a magnified to non-magnified optic to a non-magnified w/ 3x magnifier every few months. It is kinda a "chin weld" rather than a cheek weld when using the red dot but it wasn't too hard to catch on to IMO. The magnification on the 3x (both aimpoint and eotech) seemed to create a tighter FOV than I would like so this is probably my ideal setup. Mount is a LaRue LT100... I have also run the LT681 and they both work really well... excellent return to zero in my experience.
Does anyone have a new ACOG? I don't really get what they are doing with the illumination on the new ones based on their animation. Is the reticle fully lit at night but the fiber optic only supplies illumination to the upper part of the reticle during day light conditions? If anyone has pics that would be awesome.

I have the TA31RCOA4 and the Tritium chevron shows clearly in total darkness and stands out against a lighted backdrop. I'll work on getting a good night time photo of the chevron in total darkness and against a lighted background at night. I'll have to tinker with my camera settings. I'll post them when I've got good resolution to show.
