Call me stupid.

I never noticed XM193C before.

I just know to stay away from PD.

XM193A:

XM193C:

ETA: I just noticed that the XM193A says "10 rd CLIPS". ( <-----I said "clip" )

Also, the XM193C box says "American Eagle"

What about M193? Is that different than XM193 or simply an abbreviation?

Why is abbreviation such a long word?

XM193 is sold to civilians,

Military ammunition M193 would have to be pulled down and reloaded before it could be sold to civilians.

If it was ever sold to the military, then sold by the military as surplus its PD ammunition when you get it.

We use m855 so you wont see any M193 from the army.

Because big is a little word and little is twice as big

So once it's in the military's hands it can not be resold on the civilian market with out being reloaded? So, that's where PD ammo comes from and why it's in such bad shape (Sometimes)?

But if it was manufactured but not sold to the military do to not meeting spec(or what ever) then, it gets the designation X and can be sold to civies without having to be reloaded?
