Cool video.  Looks like the magazine is moving around while firing.  Doesn't seem to affect function at all though.

Here's mine with both uppers

10.5" A2, YHM barrel, Colt everything else

10.5" RRA 9mm upper with a Hogue free float and Bushnell holosight. I'm going to be sending this barrel to Adco to be chopped to 4.5.

Lower is CMMG dedicated, Hogue grip, Magpul trigger guard, Spikes nickel boron trigger, YHM ez pull takedown pins, Ace entry length stock.
Bolt is RRA ramped by me and the CH is a  BCM gunfighter. Mags are cproducts and they suck.

Got some ETS mags to try with the QC10 lower.  They arrived today.  They seat like a champ, almost seem better than the factory Glock.  A lot better than the Magpul which won't seat unless you provide an insane amount of force.  Looking forward to trying them in action when I make it back out to the range.

So far mostly good with my build.  Awaiting final pictures and parts list until I'm completely happy with it.  Going to try a few different buffers next outing as well, hopefully to get the LRHO 100% operational.  I'm hoping once "broke in" it will operate great with the heavy weight 9Q or 9Q-T.  For now it seems hit or miss.  Also, waiting to make a decision on a side charger to eliminate the care about LRHO, or at least lessen it.

Step two. Remove excess handguard.

Probably gonna pick up a holosun for it, some magpul backup sights and waiting for the stamp to come in.

Cant see it, but the upper is a side charge.

Very nice!

Question on the QC10 rifle. Who makes that flash hider? Is it the threaded  or 3 lug? How long is your barrel? I'm trying to do something very similar to yours. However, mine is 3 lug as I plan on swaping my can on and off.

I have no idea who makes that flash hider frankly.  I was at a local gun show and saw a guy with a crap ton of different types of muzzle devices.  I saw that one and loved it and had to have it.  So it might just be a guy with a mill making them.  I know that I have never seen another one like it.

I had my Tirant 9 on the AR9 for a while, but just wasn't happy with the accuracy that I was getting as the groups really opened up.  Checked for baffle strikes, but didn't have any, so no real idea why the groups were crappy. I was contemplating getting a bit longer barrel (current barrel is 4.5 inches) and trying that but once i got the stamp in for the Scorpion, I fell in love with the Scorpion/Tirant combo.  I doubt  I will ever take it off again.  Without the suppressor, I get great groups out of the AR9.

Yep, that is it.  Got mine way cheaper though, but for $35, still not bad!

This says for 223, but the one that I have can fit a whole 9mm case through it.

I really like them a lot frankly.  Even besides the looks (which I really dig) they are quite a bit wider than standard AR grips and fill up my hand quite nicely which I feel aids me in maintaining excellent control.

Give in to the temptation.
You won't be sorry.
Heck no he will not be sorry. I just fired mine for the first time since it was built, and everything worked as it was supposed to and cycled using my own reloads. I am very happy knowing this is my first gun of any sort that will be only using my loads and reloads for general purpose fun.

How do you like that upper? Does it honestly work reliably with any regular BCG? I've been wanting one, but don't want to sacrifice reliability, because my standard upper runs 100%.

Almost in its final form. Got the barrel extension in today to use when it's not suppressed. The knurling was done on the wrong end but oh well... Also need new takedown pins. Eventually going to get it redone in a grey scheme to match my glock 19. Can't wait for my SBR stamp!!

Build:
Upper - Crosshill Tech right side charging
Lower - Spikes Tactical Jolly Roger
Barrel - 6" Micro MOA 1/2-28
Bolt - CMMG
Mag Block - Macon Armory
Rail - Guntec 10" MLOK
Grip - Tactical Dynamics
Misc - ALG Trigger, custom barrel extension, Phase 5 pistol tube, 8oz buffer, KNS trigger pins, Strike Industries takedown pins, Timber Creek trigger guard

By chance do you have a parts list?  Some interesting looking pieces on there.  A few home/custom made?

Updated my original post. All "store" bought except the barrel extension I had machined to replicate the dimensions of my surefire suppressor.
