Any thoughts on these ban era carbines regarding value, features, etc?

I'd like one but for $1,499.99 they are out of their fucking tree.

Absolutely this. That's crazy money for one. There was a thread a year or two ago where some place had them for $600 or $700.

CDNN has been smoking crack lately. They have been posting some LEO Colts for ridiculous money. They should be selling for about half of what they are asking.

That is laughable. Even more ridiculous is CDNN asking $1999 for ex-LEO 6520s.... and these are later 2008+ examples with M4 stock assemblies!

Did LEO 6520s ever come with N1 fiberlite stocks? Did they have 2 or 4 position buffer tubes (receiver extensions)?

Yes, the early LEO marked rifles had fiberlite stocks and 4 position extensions. I don't know if any LEO marked 6520s ever had 2 positioning extensions. I wouldn't rule against it.

I have a pre ban 1989 6520 and it has the fiberlite unmarked stock. It is 2 position so as dogfacedsoldier has said "I wouldn't rule against it".
