Here is my match rifle
Bushmaster A2 upper receiver Rock River NM free float sleeve/tube PSA PA-15 lower PSA LPK with a extremely smoothed GI trigger (really you have to feel this trigger..lol) A1 flash hider Windage adj FSB R Guns M16 profile carrier/bolt Standard A2 rear site aperture NM front site post A2 grip Unknown manufacture A2 stock kit (bought used) Ar-Stoner 1:8 223 Wylde 20" barrel Much more accurate than I am. Built it several years ago for around $800.... Sorry for the bad pic, its much much more clear on my PC, but the link has done terrible things to it.

Do you use the A1 flash hider because it has concentric venting of the gas?

Yes, thats the main reason for the A1. Easier to index as well, with 15-20 fl lbs.

First, welcome to the Alpha Deuce land and that's a nice looking match A2
 I love those purple-ish looking Bushy A2 uppers from the 90's. Let us know how she shoots.

Let us know how she shoots.I got a pretty sweet deal on the Bushmaster receiver, just hate they are a bit purple! lol Doesnt match the lower, but who really cares. It shoots very very accurate. I placed 3rd in my first and only service rifle match out in Floyd County GA a couple years ago with it. When I bench rested it, I got close to 1.5" MOA with irons. I would like to strap it down to a sled and see how it actually shoots without my human error though. |
