Will the beefed-up design allow a Larue Tactical handguard anti-rotation tab to fit?

It should fit all the Free-float hand guard systems including the Larue. Once we are able to test it, we'll confirm.

I think I jus gots to have one o dem.
I have a "spare" lower that I am trying to figure out what to do with. I now believe that the rest of the build will revolve around one of these uppers, assuming I can actually get my paws on one. Nice work fellas!!!!!!! |

Oh great, ofcourse you wait until I buy a regular old upper for my new build befor you announce this.
Now if you guys could just get some 20'' govt profile barrels in stock I could blow some more money at your site.

We are pursuing a small pre-production run of 25-50 units for further testing. We made a small change with the shell deflector to look more angular to match the lines with the rest of the upper. Hopefully, this will be our final revision and we can start mass-production shortly.

Looks awesome, any specific lower this fit best on? I know a lot of my uppers and lowers have lines that differ.

Pretty much any billet'd lower out there, from POF, Sundevil, to Tac T15BDX is going to match up very nicely with this, i'm planning on slapping one of these bad boys on a POF gen 3 415. Will this upper be available with an enlarged ejection port I'm thinking of 6.5G and .458SOCOM BUILDS? I have not done any but have read that builders of both look for uppers with ejection ports at the upper end of the tolerances.

The PreProduction units are going to be made in 6061 because we are mainly interested in function. In all practical purposes, you won't see any real life differences in terms of aluminum types but we are making final production units in 7075. The reason we are making the preproduction units in 6061 is because the billet bars were readily available and we are awaiting for 7075. As Stickman said, that's why our preproduction units will be discounted.

this is true about not seeing differences between the 6061 unit vs. the 7075 unit. You will never notice it unless you plan on subjecting your upper with forces yielding 45,000 psi or more
I just wanted a upper of the same alloy as my lower.

LIkewise, I think it would go well with Sun Devil lowers. I am glad Rainier is getting in the ball game, I have faith in their ability to release the product in a timely manner, at a fair price, compared to some of the other vaporware manufacturers that do nothing but make throw dates out to placate us. That being said...
