Honestly, this is the first I've ever heard of a manufacturer LOWERING prices.

Neato!

I know that it's kind of become an arfcom running joke but...

Any chance of showing a little love for your fellow arfcommers and offering some sort of group buy?

Thanks for your consideration.

are there any new followers for the 6.8 spc.   the ones you have out now are too small for the steel PRI mag bodies.  the front end dips down slightly.  I talked to PRI and they said that you are working on a new one.  What is the time frame.

+1 on the high-vis ones.  Are there going to be more than just yellow?

Thanks!

A cost savings that is passed on to the consumer, man I love you guys.

You wouldn't happen to need an employee with no other experience than shooting guns and riding shotgun on freight trains would you?

Oh and might want to recheck the spelling of integrated.

This kind of crap pisses me off. Now I have to buy a whole new slew of followers to replace my Orange and Gray color scheme. Damn you Magpul.

Just take the old ones to a Gun Show, throw them down on the table with some beef jerky, and charge $29.99 for the "RARE GEN II" magpul followers.....

Well done! I've enjoyed the Gen 2, so I'll definately be giving my next mags the new model. As mentioned, appreciate the price drop as well.

Why? They stated the Gen 2's are good to go and the Gen 3's are just a product improvement.

Curious - What is the square hole in the middle of the follower shelf?  Part of the mold holding jig?

Damn I just bought 20 Gen II's about a week ago.  Guess I will have to order some Gen III's for some more of my mags.

Yes there is a trade in program.  You can send in your old Gen 2s and for every three Magpul will sell you three new Gen 3s for $5.95.
j/k, I have no idea, but it seems a little ridiculous to be asking about a trade in program when there is nothing wrong with the Gen 2s.

Same for me, UPS is ripping here.  Buying 12 followers is $23.80, shipping is $8.24.  Thats about 30% of the total cost.  USPS could ship priority for like $4.  I will have to wait until I find someone who will ship at a fair price.

I have both Gen I and Gen II followers on my mags and I have had absolutely no reliability issues with my old USGI magazines; the followers were the best thing that ever happened to the M16 magazine.

Magpul :

Could I get you to contact me via private message about a purchase of ~200?
Will these become available in Coyote/Tan/FDE?

Send me an email. We will probably do a FDE run for DSG and we can bulk quote both our OEM Stainless Steel springs and ISMI CS springs which we keep in stock.

No recall, all generations work, but if you are interested in the differences, you may want to check out the second picture in the original post.  It points out the changes.

I know.    I was trying to get osinious to explain why he was entitled to reduced cost upgrades.
