Below is an early SP1 5-round (still blocked) magazine with the original white dot stickers on both sides that I recently purchased along with some other early Colt 20-round magazines.  Does anyone know what years Colt marked the 5-round blocked magazines with the white dots?  For reference I have included two pictures of early SP1s that both have white dot sticker marked magazines.  They are #SP0323 and #SP118X respectively, both 1964s, and may even belong to members on here.

#SP0323

#SP118X

The one you have shown as SN 118 is not correct. It is a 4 digit. The SN is 1,18X. Made Nov. 16, 1964 and sent out of the Colt nest on Nov. 20, 1964.

It has the same sorta "U" shaped steel limiter that was also commonly found in later 5-round blocked 20-round body magazines that Colt sold and were also shipped with some later SP1 and Sporter model rifles.

#323 is mine. Rifle was received with two mags. One regular 20rd., one blocked 20rd. Both had the white stickers. Neither one was a "circle 1" magazine. Not sure of manufacturing history.

I'll have to check the mags with 118x.. I honestly don't remember if one is block and one not.

I know I have one or two early mags with the white stickers. I know one if not both are blocked. I'll have to dig them out.
