DOD Stamp minutia

My '71 era 603 is just about done. I have searched the past discussions on the DOD stamp but none have said what type of white paint was used. Was the white paint flat, gloss or somewhere in between??

I use testors basic white. Pour a couple of drops on something flat and spread
It out thin. Dip and stamp, but Test it on something first

Are referring to the rubber DOD stamps, or NFA stamps.
Just wondering, as I'm trying to find a source to buy a rubber stamp to make DOD marks..

hello, I used rustoleum flat white brush paint it worked good , I could wipe off a couple trys I didn't like.
