I'm overall very happy with my experience thus far with Indiana Army Surplus.  Email responses have been quite prompt, always answer all my questions to the best of their abilities, and received everything well packaged.  Granted I didn't order much, mainly because I was on a budget and couldn't afford alot when I first ordered.  Also, I'm trying to finish one retro at a time so I'm not consumed with always looking for parts.  That and the fiance and I are getting married in October so I'm trying to be good and not spend alot of money right now on gun stuff.

I don't know which number  I was in during the ordering line, I called about 2-3 weeks ago and got my name in the ordering list. Due to them inventorying everything, and getting people ahead of me I didn't get the okay to call them and give them my payment info until Monday. They sent me confirmation of my order on Tuesday, got my order today.  Extremely excited about how everything looked.  Though I was short one take down pin, upon looking at my receipt I found an envelope with the $4 cash in it and a brief explanation that they had simple ran out. Good enough for me.  Here is what I got
-A1 stripped upper CK marked
-2 bolt catches
-2 no tick safety selectors
-2 front take down pins
-1 rear take down pin
-2 magazine release buttons

Like I said, didn't have much spare cash at the moment, so I ordered what I could afford.

Granted, I was hoping to get a complete upper or even one with the rear sight aperture already in it.  Already have a second order in to get a tear drop FA, all parts for the rear sigh assemble, and hopefully they can have a port door.  Granted someone else posted they bought the last one in the other Bedford post (curse you!!), Slim said that they were still finding stuff.

If you haven't heard back from them yet, give them some time.  Slim informed me today when I spoke to him that they were already about a week or so behind, mainly because he is the main one tasked with going through all the emails and trying to find the parts people want. Coupled with the fact that they are having a grand opening soon (same company also just opened a gas company), and he's trying to find the stash of super retro parts for some of you guys.  I'll be happy if he finds an ejection port door for me along with everything else.  Slim wanted to add though, he appreciates all the business you guys are giving them and he's trying to get everyone's order as complete as possible.

Now for what some of you have been looking for, the pictures of what I received

I have one of the forward assist replacing the one on my Rubber Duck and the other two are for future builds. The port door I have is a replacement for one I sold recently. Sorry. I pretty much ordered just what I needed and I even forgot a few things.

Its all in jest ;) I thought I was getting a close to complete upper but beggers can't be choosers. Plus love the worn look of my upper. When nodak calls eventually to confirm my lower I'm going to have them do the battle worn look on it.  It will all fit in with my d stock with rack numbers on it boywonder sold me:)

Btw, I love that rubber duck you've posted. What are your next two builds if I may ask

I do have a few other small parts I am trying to get from boywonder. I just gave him my official list this morning. He has been really great over the years getting parts from. As for my next two builds, one will be a XM16E1 and the other will most likely be another M16A1. This one will not be as pretty as my other one.

ETA: I cleaned up the stocks, handguards, BCG, and the upper a little bit this morning and took some better pics without flash. Daylight is much better lighting.

I would've LOVED to buy one of those 603 receivers, but it's time to suspend buying AR (and Cummins) parts and save for something that I've wanted for years now. Maybe by the time I return, there'll be a few parts left on the market.

I can't say nothing, I just ordered a port door and slip ring assemble off boywonder. He said retro was addicting but for the moment I'm just trying to get all my necessary parts for my Model 651 build so I can have a quick build when my lower from Nodal comes up. But in meantime, no reason why to not make my other 20" A1 more appropriate as well and get her ready for when she gets an A1 lower as well. Then that bushmaster A2 lower will have to be built.
