The lower will live on one day as a tribute from the autopsy pictures!

Ouch. Same as others asked, what happened?
Looks like a complete case head failure as the case looks to still be in the chamber.
My money is on bad reloads or an out-of-battery.

PD gun that sat forgotten on a dusty shelf for years until it was decided to scrap it.
It was a bitch to get the remains of the chrome bolt out of the barrel extension.
I rescued what I could from it before the powers "decided" to crunch it!
